Just have a look to following site: spielraum.co.at there is a large community of Magic players and it is a very nice shop with lots of nice people. you are always welcome and can go to meet other people sitting around, playing magic, talking about magic just having a good time.

The thing is that I was once a couple of weeks there and they told me that indeed people play EDH but only occasionally and i have to be around when this happen. Unfortunately for me that's not a solution first because i don't have that much time to go there every day just to check it out and secondly even if i do speak a little German is a little harder for me to quickly "fit in" so i was hoping for something more organised. I was surprised to find out that in a big city like Wien there is not even one group dedicated (at least partialy) to EDH. Even in my home town we had a day when we played only this format. Anyway i will go there one more time to see if i can catch those "rarae aves".
